  MITCHELL
  
  Mary Ellen Mitchell, 73, of Confluence died April 2, 2002 in Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Aug. 13, 1928 in Lower Turkeyfoot Township.  A
  daughter of the late Russell and Pearle (Romesburg) Goller.  In
  addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray
  C. Mitchell, sons Dr. Barry R. Mitchell, and Dr. David R. Mitchell,
  brothers John and Charles Goller and sisters, Thelma Tressler,
  Lucinda Goller, and Pauline Goniak.  She is survived by a son Terry
  A. Mitchell of Stoystown, five grandchildren, Richard A. and Tyler J.
  Mitchell, Adrienne Anderson, Aimee DeHaven, and Mirabella Mitchell,
  and a sister Ruth Rose of Uniontown.  Member of Confluence Trinity
  Lutheran Church and L.C.W.  Former pianist and Sunday school teacher
  at Ursina Lutheran Church.  She was employed as an LPN for 30 years
  at Price Hospital in Confluence, for eight years at Somerset State
  Hospital, and worked for a number of years at Turkeyfoot Valley Area
  Schools.  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence.  Funeral service will be held at 10
  a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ardelle Mason
  officiating.  There will be no viewing at the church.  Interment will
  follow in Kingwood IOOF Cemetery.  Family suggests memorial
  contributions to the American Cancer Society.
