    Robert Kenneth Mitchell, 51, Somerset RD 1, died Oct. 1, 1978 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Nov. 8, 1926 in Black Township, and was a son of James
  and Catherine (Gephart) Mitchell.
    He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Catherine Gephart, Rockwood RD
  1; by his wife, Gladys (Chaney) Mitchell, Somerset RD 1; five
  daughters: Miss Linda Mitchell, at home; Mrs. Joyce Ernst, Berlin RD
  4; Mrs. Ruth Growden, Hanau, Germany; Mrs. Connie Nearhoff, Somerset
  and Mrs. Cathy Hill, Somerset RD 1.
    He is also survived by six sisters: Mrs. Susie Weimer, Rockwood RD
  1; Mrs. Mary Steele, Somerset RD 2; Mrs. Gladys Walk, Barton, Md.;
  Mrs. Thelma Burrock, Towanda, N.Y.; Mrs. Hilda Young, Somerset RD 1;
  Mrs. Florence Kelly, Garrett RD 1; seven brothers: James, Berlin RD
  4; George, Berlin RD 1; Herman, Somerset RD 1; Ernest, Rockwood RD 1;
  Everett, Confluence RD 1; Floyd, Towanda, N.Y. and William, Somerset
  RD 1 and three granddaughters.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Earl Pritts
  officiating.  Interment, Sanner Lutheran Cemetery.
