    Wanda Mitchell, 71, of Tire Hill Road, Johnstown, died June 5, 2006 at home. Born July
  14, 1934, in Hooversville, daughter of Albert Guy and Ethel Mae (Johns) Shaffer. Preceded
  in death by parents and sister, Nancy Barnes. Survived by husband of 49 years, Larry
  Mitchell, and these children; Brad, and wife, Jean Mitchell of Ligonier; Barb Omasta and
  Beth Bidelman, both of Johnstown; and six grandchildren. Sister of Fred and wife, Nina
  Shaffer of Hollidaysburg. Member of Ridge Church of the Brethren. Family receiving
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at George S. Mason Funeral Home Inc.,
  Davidsville where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Mike Beam
  officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
