WILLIAM MODISPAW

  William J. Modispaw, aged 45, died in the State Hospital, Somerset, Saturday, 
September 14, following a long period of suffering.  He was born June 19, 1901, 
and was the son of Charles and Sara (Oliver) Modispaw.
  Mr. Modispaw was a former carpenter on the B & O Railroad and was a veteran of 
World War I.  Surviving are his parents, and his sister, Marie, and two 
brothers, Harry M. and Clarence R. Modispaw, all of Meyersdale.
  Funeral services were conducted in the home of his father, on Lincoln Ave., 
Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Sherwood Keiser officiating.  Interment in Union 
Cemetery under the direction of W. C. Price.
