Mognet, 82, of Meyersdale, died Dec. 9, 1996, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born April 7, 1914, in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Butler) Ringler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John L. Mognet. She is survived by a son, John E. Mognet, of Meyersdale; and a daughter, Linda, wife of Dennis DeVany of Bethesda, Md., and three grandchildren. She was part owner of Mognet Taxi Service and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. A funeral service will be held today (Thursday, Dec. 12) at Leckemby Funeral Home, Pastor Randall Marburger officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
