Born April 12, 1929, in Addison, a son of the late Benjamin and Eva (Miller) Montague. He is survived by his wife, Virginia (Healy) Montague; one brother, Paul W. of Chesterland, Ohio; two sisters, Goldie Adams of Jacksonville, Fla., and Peggy Pletcher of Wheeling, W.Va.; many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of Paralyzed Veterans of America, DAV Chapter 84 of Holly Hill, Fla., and VFW Post 10208 of Salt Spring, Fla. Friends will be received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, from 2:30 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, time of service, with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating.
