  MONTGOMERY
  
    Ralph Everett Montgomery, 81, of Friedens RD 1 died Nov. 29, 1995,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Sept. 2, 1914, in Tunnelton, W.Va., the
  son of the late Claude Clayton and Iris (Kerchval) Montgomery.  Also
  preceded in death by brothers Robert, George and Charles Montgomery
  and sister, Kathryn Tabor.  Survived by his wife, the former Edna
  Lynetta Lease, to whom he was married 60 years, and these children:
  Jean Montgomery of Jenners; Caroll L., wife of Dr. George A.
  Montgomery Jr. of Friedens RD 1; Kay M. Westerfeld of Towson, Md.;
  Judith L., wife of Stephen Hemenway of Marietta, Ga., and John R.
  Montgomery, married to the former Maxine Gerhart, of Mechanicsburg;
  also 9 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Iris Adkins of Freeport,
  Pa.  Member of Friedens Lutheran Church and Mountain, Field and
  Stream Club.  A welder for former Johnstown Works, U.S. Steel Corp.,
  retiring in 1975.  Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Services
  will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Friedens Lutheran Church,
  the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Friedens Cemetery. 
  There will be viewing at the church from noon until time of
  services.  Contributions may be made to Friedens Lutheran Church,
  Friedens RD 2, Pa. 15541.
