    Donald Roy Moon Jr., 56, Morehead City, N.C., died Nov. 25, 2007, at Carteret General
  Hospital. Born Sept. 14, 1951, in Johnstown, the son of Donald Roy Moon Sr. and Dorothy
  Moon-Wilson. Preceded in death by father and sister, Brenda Frantam. Survived by wife,
  the former Melissa Kay Hicks; mother, Annapolis, Md.; children, Misty Moon, Washington;
  Melanie Moon-Hacker, Glen Burnie, Md.; Melisa Moon, Newport, N.C.; Bethany Moon, Emily
  Moon, Elizabeth Moon, all of Morehead City; Jonus Moon, Savannah, Tenn.; Jesse Moon,
  Lincoln, Del.; sister, Linda Jones, Denton, Md.; brother, Greg Moon, Annapolis, Md.; and
  five nephews and one niece. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for four years. Friends
  received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset,
  where a service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday. James Moon Jr. officiating. Interment
  Stoystown IOOF Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to
  Tiller Elementary School in memory of Donald Roy Moon Jr., 1950 Highway 70 E., Beaufort,
  N.C. 28516. Military graveside rites by the Somerset County Honor G u a r d .
