HARRISON R. MOON

  Harrison R. Moon died Tuesday, August 24, at his home in Confluence where he 
had resided for four years since retiring from his farm in Lower Turkeyfoot 
Township.
  Mr. Moon was born in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, Jan. 27, 1859, the son of the 
late Jacob H. and Catherine (Ridenour) Moon.  He is survived by his wife, Ella 
(Daniels) Moon, and the following sons and daughters: Ira J., Davidsville; Earl, 
Friedens; Gertrude, wife of R. C. Clouse; Ida, Mrs. Charles Lingenfield, George 
and Robert, all of Confluence; Lee, Houston, Texas; Russell, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. 
Adam Clark and Charles Moon, Bobtown.  Twenty-two grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren also survive.
  Mr. and Mrs. Moon celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary last Christmas, 
when both were in fairly good health.  Mr. Moon is the last of his family to 
pass away.
  He was a member of the Confluence Methodist Church.  Funeral services were 
held at the Humbert Funeral Home, Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 with Rev. J. O. 
Martin of Vanderbilt, former pastor of the Confluence Methodist Church, 
officiating.  Interment in the Jersey Cemetery.
