    Betty J. Moore, 75, of Garrett, died June 22, 2002, in Johnstown. 
  Born Feb. 22, 1927 in Garrett, a daughter of the late Walter and
  Margaret (Tipton) Tressler.  Preceded in death by one brother, John
  Tressler and one sister, Katherine Nicklow.  Survived by her husband
  of 58 years, Charles Moore; one son, Tom Moore and wife Linda of
  Garrett; two daughters, Janet Vandergrift and husband Robert of
  Garrett, and Andrea Plessinger and husband Claude of Oakland, Md.,
  one sister, Hilda Swindell of Somerset; six grandchildren and seven
  great-grandchildren.  Member of the Meyersdale Apostolic Penecostal
  Church.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the
  M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday.  Rev. Larry Stewart officiating.  Interment, Highland
  Cemetery.
