    Charles E. Moore Sr., 89, of Garrett RD 1, died Feb. 24, 1980, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  
    He was born Nov. 14, 1890, in Edie, a son of John and Mary (Geisel)
  Moore.
    He is survived by five sons: John H. of Texas; Charles E. of
  Garrett RD 1; Eugene B. of Frostburg, Md.; Orrie D. of Cleveland,
  Ohio; and Dale of Connellsville; also five daughters: Mrs. Melda
  Knopsnyder of Garrett RD 1; Miss Delores Moore, also of Garrett RD 1;
  Mrs. Idella Thompson of Summit Mills; Mrs. Esther Ohler of Berlin; and
  Mrs. Cleta Frankel of Harrisonburg, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Ann Stufft
  of Hooversville; 33 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 5
  great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by wife, Agnes Moore, on Dec. 14, 1966;
  three daughters and one son.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where services were conducted with the Rev. Richard Slack
  officiating.  Interment, Laurel Cemetery.
