Born July 6, 1927, in Scottdale, a son of the late Frank and Anna (Stoner) Moore. Donald attended The Rayman Church of the Brethren, Friedens. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a master tool and die maker for Anchor Hocking, Connellsville. Graduate of the Former Scottdale High School, Class of 1945. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ferne R. Brown Moore; five brothers and three sisters. Survived by his second wife, Doris Swearman Moore; two daughters, Linda Fox and husband James, of Greensburg, and Vicki Ulery and husband, Don, of Scottdale; a stepson, James D. Smith and wife, Denise, of North Huntingdon; two stepdaughters, Cindy Fogle of Miami, Fla., and Carolyn Carbaugh and husband, Mike, of Hagerstown, Md., three grandchildren, Jimmie Fox and wife, Lisa, of Irwin, Shawn Ulery and wife, Lora, of Scottdale, and Suzanna Ulery of Alexandria, Va.; and five step-grandchildren: Victor and Conrad Johnson of Miami, Fla.; Carrie Smith of North Huntingdon, Grant and Garrett Carbaugh of Hagerstown, Md. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Eugene G. Saloom Funeral Home Inc., Main Street, Mount Pleasant, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment, Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
