    Dorothy C. (Daniels) Moore, 82, Berlin, formerly of Central City
  and Boswell RD, died Dec. 4, 2001, at Meadow View Nursing Center. 
  Born July 16, 1919, in Lincoln Township.  Daughter of William C. and
  Bertha (Maurer) Daniels.  Preceded in death by parents, sister, Ruth
  Elaine Glasgow, and brothers, Kenneth and Roy.  Survived by husband,
  Eugene R., Oak Street, Central City; sons, Herb E., married to Carol
  And Wise, Windber, and Bert E., married to Carol Jean Stewart, New
  Brighton; grandchildren, Michael Moore, Michelle (Moore), wife of
  Brian Gerhart, and Christopher Moore; step-grandchildren, Michelle
  (Wise), wife of Bryan Kaniuk, and Amber Weise; and
  step-great-granddaughter Sydney Kaniuk.  A 1937 graduate of Somerset
  High School and a 1939 graduate of the former Indiana State Teachers
  College.  Retired elementary school teacher with over 35 years
  service in the Somerset and North Star School Districts.
    Observed 58th Wedding Anniversary Feb. 8, 2001.  Lifetime member of
  The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for Women Educators and
  the PSEA.  Also member of the Pennsylvania State Education Retirement
  Association, the Central City Senior Citizens and the Berkey Church of
  the Brethren, Windber RD.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. 
  Viewing also from 10 a.m. until the time of service, 11 a.m. Friday
  at the Berkey Church, Rev. Earl Crissman officiating.  Interment,
  Beam Cemetery near Gray.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given
  to the Berkey Church of the Brethren, 1038 Church Drive, Windber, Pa.
