  MOORE
  
  Ernest W. Moore, 67, of Somerset RD 3, died Sept. 8, 1989 at
  Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Sept. 18, 1921 in
  Lincoln Township, son of the late Monroe and Lydia Ann (Atchison)
  Moore.  Preceded in death by first wife, Ella Jean, in 1984; sister
  Myrtle Shaulis and Edna Green and a brother George Moore.  Survived
  by his wife, the former Carol Hoffman and a son, Larry J. Moore of
  Friedens RD 1; brother Russell T. Moore of Somerset RD 4, and two
  grandchildren.  Member of Sipesville Church of the Brethren, where he
  served as a deacon.  Member of Carpenters Local 1419 of Johnstown. 
  World War II veteran, serving with the military police.  Life-long
  heavy construction worker.  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
  Home.  Funeral service will be conducted at the Sipesville Church of
  the Brethren at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Leslie Cooper officiating. 
  Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.  Viewing will be at the church one
  hour prior to funeral service.
