  EUGENE J. MOORE
  
    Eugene J. Moore, 54, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 5, 1981, at his home.
    He was born Dec. 9, 1926, in Roytown, a son of Mrs. Annie Mae
  (Darr) Swauger of Ravenna, Ohio and the late Jacob P. Moore.  He was
  also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas R.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Lillian Pritts; step-father,
  Merle C. Swauger; and these children:  Richard E., Meyersdale RD 4;
  Jack L., Kent, Ohio; and Mrs. Betty J. Hilgert, Ravenna, Ohio; and
  six grandchildren.  He was the brother of Fred, Robert, Mrs. Nellie
  Sarver, and Erma King, all of Kent; Ohio; Mrs. Gertrude Yinkey,
  Ravenna, Ohio; and William, Apple Valley, Calif.  He was a retired
  Penelec employee with 25 years of service; a member of Meyersdale
  American Legion; Somerset VFW; and Somerset Moose Lodge.
    Friends were received at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Ray Davis.  Interment, Edie
  Cemetery.
