  JESSE C. MOORE
  
    Jesse C. Moore, 89, of West Main St., Somerset died July 11, 1983,
  in Somerset Community Hospital.
    Born May 17, 1894, in Milford Township, he was a son of the late
  Elmer E. and Martha (Bungard) Moore.  He was preceded in death by
  parents; his wife, the former Ruth Mosholder on April 18, 1981; also
  these brothers, Harry, John D., Elmer; and a sister, Lydia Lee.
    He is survived by these daughters:  Mary, wife of Milton Weighley,
  Friedens RD 1; Violet, wife of William Cochran, Anna, wife of 
  William McQuade, Mildred, wife of  William Ringler, all of Berlin;
  Florence, wife of Harry Maust, Somerset; and Ida Mae, wife of Roy
  Schmuck, Rockwood RD 3; 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.  He
  was a member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, a retired farm
  machinery dealer.
    Friends will be received at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. 
  Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Somerset
  Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. 
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  The body will lie in state
  in the church from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service.
