Born July 7, 1937, in Acosta, he was a son of the late George A. and Mary Ellen (Horner) Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a retired employee of Penn Alps Restaurant, Grantsville, Md. He was a member of St. JohnOs United Church of Christ, Salisbury, where he served as deacon and elder. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-62, and with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1964-68, and was a member of Salisbury American Legion. Surviving are his wife, Clara Jane (Baer) Morgan; one son, Mark Douglas Morgan, Lake Worth, Fla.; one daughter, Mary Charisse Graves and husband Andrew, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three grandchildren: Morgan Elizabeth Graves, John Andrew Graves and David Alexander Graves; and two sisters: Georgiann Rose and Gloria Morgan, both of West Palm Beach, Fla. Friends were received Monday at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury. Services were conducted in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Tuesday with the Rev. Ruth Kershner officiating. Interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ.
