He had been unable to work for the last year. He served as a conductor on a fast train between Pittsburgh and Cumberland for many years before his health failed. Surviving are his wife and four sons - Boyd, William, John and Robert - all at home. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Morgan home, in charge of Rev. E. N. Caimpa, pastor of the Rockwood United Brethren Church, followed by burial in the Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery, in charge of Funeral Directors Mills & Mickey. Meyersdale Republican, January 5, 1933
