ACOSTA MINER KILLED LAST TUESDAY, Struck by a pole on his motor Tuesday 
afternoon in the Consolidation mine at Acosta, William Morgan, aged 19 years, 
was instantly killed. Morgan's motor was being taken from the runway for repairs 
when the accident occurred. The young man did not see the pole as it swung 
around and caught him on the back breaking his neck. The unfortunate man leaves 
a widow and one child.
