We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- James Morgan, aged 70 years, died last Sunday night at his home here, after a long illness of a complication of diseases. He is survived by his wife and seven children: Miss Minnie H. Morgan, of Pittsburgh; Mrs. R. A. Shaffer of West Elizabeth, Pa.; Mrs. Ross Kreger, of Johnstown; Mrs. Albert Saylor, of Mayersdale; Blaine Morgan, of Coalport; John Morgan, of Robertsdale, and Robert, of Johnstown. Nine grandchildren also survive. He was a member of the F. & A. M. of Cromwell Lodge, Cromwell, Pa., the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge. No. 579, of Broad Top, and Friendship Lodge, No. 76, Loyal Order of Moose, of Meyersdale. He had been a foreman of the Consolidated Coal Company here for 16 years. and retired five years ago. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the Morgan home by Rev. George Fallen, pastor of the Meyersdale Methodist Episcopal Church and Rev. B. A. Black, pastor of the Meyerdale Reformed Church. The body was taken Wednesday morning to Robertsdale by Undertaker W. C Price for interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican May 1, 1930
