Born July Michael, son of the late Edward and Margaret (Shope) Morgart. Survived by wife of 48 years, the former Jean Wise; children, James E., married to the former Sandra Angel, State College, David C., married to the former Deborah Grey, Princton Junction, N.J., Alan W. Morgart and special friend Melissa Peck, South Williamsport, and Carol Jean, wife of Greg Domonkos, Windber; grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda and Christina, Lauren, and Hayley, Christopher, Zachary, Nicholas, Matthew and Kristina, Stephanie and Michael; also ex-daughter-in-law, Ann Marie Morgart. Brother of James Morgart and fiancˇe, Sally Sprow. Korean Conflict veteran. Chuck was a member of the Windber Lions Club for 35 years, American Legion Post 137, VFW Post 4795, and Windber Church of the Brethren. He also attend-ed Scalp Level Trinity United Methodist Church. Chuck was also employed by the Eureka Store, Windber Electric Company and then retired from Penelec. He was past treasurer of Windber Borough. Enjoyed income tax preparation for friends and family for over 40 years. Special thanks to daughter Carol, granddaughter Stephanie, and also Nancy Barnes, visiting nurse from Windber Home Health Agency for special care during his battle with lung cancer. Also special thanks to Northern EMS for all their help. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Windber Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Royden Airesman, pastor, and Rev. Art Moffet officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be directed to Windber Lions Club, 308 21st St., Windber, PA 15963 or Regional Hospice at Windber.
