Born Aug. 11, 1917, in Harrison, Somerset County, son of the late Thomas L., and Minnie Mabel (Kimmel) Morley. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Evelyn Tracy Brant on Aug. 28, 1995; two brothers, Robert V. Morley and Jesse Morley; and a sister, Mary Belle Morley. Survived by these children, Robert William Morley, Switzerland, Fla.; Beverly A. Morley and Jean M. Luman, both of Ft. Myers, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great grandson. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Thomas O. and Althea Morley of Parsonsburg. A veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, where he had served as a tank commander with Gen. George S. Patton's Third Army Division. Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church; Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Lodge No. 735 F & AM; VFW Post No. 554 of Somerset; and American Legion Post No. 181. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday. The Rev. Keith M. Fink officiating.
