Born Dec. 25, 1916, in Somerset. Son of Biaggio and Flora (Revello) Morocco. Preceded in death by parents and three brothers, George, Louis and Victor Morocco. Survived by wife, the former Lorena E. Barkman, to whom he was married 51 years. Also survived by these children: Mrs. Woodrow H. (Judy) Cole, Somerset RD 4; Mrs. Jack C. (Jane) Miller, Somerset; John L. Morocco, married to the former Pamela Slickerman, Somerset RD 7; 8 grandchildren: Mark and Bradley Cole; Mickey, Amanda and Roslyn Morocco; Jerry, Timothy and Tiffany Miller; 4 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Jesse, Laykin and Lexie Cole. Brother of Mrs. Mary Gettings, Charles F. Morocco, Robert A. "Butch" Morocco and Mrs. Viola Wilhelm, all of Somerset; Mrs. Julia Baker, Tequesta, FL.; Thomas Morocco, Detroit, MI. 1935 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sons of Italy of Boswell, Old Timers Baseball Association, Laurel Ridge Sportsman Association. He was co-founder and coach with the Church League Basketball in the 1950's to 1970's. Welding foreman for Highland Tank and Manufacturing Co. until retirement in 1981. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where wake service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with the Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
