Preceded in death by parents; sister, Alma Powers; and brothers, Francis and William. Survived by wife, the former Betty G. Ream; and children: Jerry "Sam" of West Virginia; Ronald, married to Patricia Grace, and Jeffrey, married to Mylene Henry, both of Hooversville RD; Regina, wife of Charles Garrett, Ovett, Miss.; and Sgt. John, married to Melissa Moore, U.S. Army, Newport News, Va.; also 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Rosetta Leach, Benson, Ariz.; Kenneth, Jefferson, Pa., and Dale, Carrollton, Texas. Member of Holy Family Catholic Parish, Hooversville. Avid fisherman and Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Retired mine foreman. Observed 47th wedding anniversary on Nov. 26, 1996.
