Mort, 82, 275 Clark St., Hooversville, died Oct. 3, 1977, at Somerset Community Hospital. She was * March 17, 1895, in Quincy, Ill., daughter of the late Norman and Clara (Hawn) Weimer. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Mort, two sons, one daughter, one brother, and six sisters. She is survived by these children: Francis, Seward; William, Boswell RD 1; Mrs. Rosetta Leach, Stoystown RD 3; Marlyn, Hooversville RD 1; Kenneth, Boswell; Dale, Hooversville 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. The viewing will be at the Thomas P. Read Funeral Home, Hooversville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Stanley Zubricki will offer mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary, Hooversville Fireman's Auxiliary, Senior Citizens, and Sacred Heart Society of the church. The VFW will hold a service Tuesday evening at the church.
