  MORT
  
    Ruth E. Mort, 75, of Somerset RD 8 died Feb. 12, 1996, at Good
  Samaritan Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 29, 1920, in Somerset
  Township.  Daughter of the late Harvey H. and Grace (Hiteshew)
  Baer.  Preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Baer.  Survived by her
  husband of 50 years, Lloyd H. Mort, and the following children:
  Ronald E. Mort, married to the former Beverly Ankney, Somerset RD 1;
  Mrs. Donnie G. (Linda) Smith, of Somerset, and Wayne S. Mort, married
  to the former MaryJo Nicholson of Markleton RD 1.  Eight grandchildren
  and two great-grandsons.  Sister of Harvey G. Baer of Somerset RD 7,
  and Mrs. Maud Hafer and Fred Baer, both of Friedens RD 1.  Member of
  the Geiger Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received from 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 11
  a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment,
  St. John's Cemetery.
