  ERNEST MORTON
  
    Ernest Morton, 58, of Rockwood RD 2, died April 28, 1974, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 18, 1915, in Wendel, W. Va.,
  he was a son of John C. and Nellie (Anderson) Morton.  He was
  preceded in death by his wife, the former Marjorie Snyder.
    Surviving are a brother and a sister, John Morton, of Wilmington,
  Mass., and Olive, wife of Jacob Peters of Meriden, Conn.
    He was a veteran Of World War II and was formerly employed by the
  W. T. Grant Company.
    Funeral service was conducted Tuesday evening in Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. H. James Meyers
  officiating.  Interment Wednesday in Greenwood Memorial Park, New
  Kensington.
