He was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Elk Lick Township. Son of the late Ralph H. and Susan Alice (Walker) Moser. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Kuntz and Berniece Hoover. Survived by wife, Roberta Koontz Moser; and these children, Cynthia, wife of Owen Long, Meyersdale; Beth Moser, Leonardtown, Md.; and Scott and wife Barbara, Philadelphia. These grandchildren, Mega Giuffrida; Doughlas Ocheletree; Kelsey, Derick, Janelle, Kendra, and Jordan Long; Krista, Jenna and Nathaniel Moser. Also survived by two sisters, Carrie Rodamer, Springs; and Dorothy Gnagey, Jericho, Vt.; and brother, Harvey Moser, Meyersdale. A graduate of Meyersdale High School. He was a farmer. Member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. Loved to sing in the Men's Chorus. Sang in the Maple Festival "Magic Water." He also enjoyed singing in other churches throughout the area. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. Wednesday he will be taken to the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren to lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. the time of service with the Rev. Peter Kaltenbaugh, pastor, officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren Memorial Fund.
