Mosholder, on Large Street, Wednesday evening, August 17th, at 8:20 p.m., at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 21 days. She was the daughter of Baltzer and Christina (Shumaker) Gauntz and was born on September 7, 1857. She was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted at the home of her son on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by Rev. George Detweiler of the Church of the Brethren. Interment was made in Union Cemetery by Undertaker J. L. Tressler. She is survived by seven children, six sons and one daughter, namely: W. H., S. D., and G. F. Mosholder, Meyersdale; H. M. Mosholder, Connellsville; Mrs. W. M. Yaist and E. E. Mosholder, Youngstown, Ohio; G. D. Mosholder, Normalville, Pa.; C. R. Mosholder, Columbus, Ohio. Two daughters and four sons preceded her to the grave. Forty-two grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren survive her. Meyersdale Republican, September 1, 1932
