Mossholder died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1997 at the Franciscan Nursing Center, Appleton, Wis., where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born Clarice Eleanor Marx on May 8, 1913 in Werner, N.D., to Joseph and Anna Klinko Marx. After graduating from high school, she moved to Appleton, Wis., where on May 15, 1937, she was united in marriage with Marshall W. Mossholder. Together, they farmed and operated a cheese business until his death in August, 1989. She is survived by two daughters, Deloris (David) Kramer of Le Mars, Iowa, and Nancy (Howard) Mills of La Crosse; two sons, David (Jan) Mossholder of Appleton and Keith Mossholder of White Lake, Wis.; seven grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Nila Hoffer of Hebron, N.D., and Ellen Kinsella of Port Charlotte, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband; one brother, Allan Marx; and one sister, Lorna Cannon. Funeral arrangements are being made through the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, Wis. [Unknown] 1997
