Born May 9, 1916 in Greenville Twp. A daughter of the late Charles and Annie (Sass) Steinly. Also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey W. Mostoller who died on May 30, 2006. Survived by two brothers: Bruce A. Steinly, Amherst, OH; and Oscar L. Steinly and his wife, Dorothy, Garrett; and a sister, Janet Myra Brown, Somerset. Also survived by a special niece, Lynn Shaffer and her husband Richard, Meyersdale. Hester was a lifelong member of Mt. Carmel Evangelical Lutheran Church. Friends were received 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale. Service was conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church (White Oak) with the Rev. Glenn P. Foster officiating. Interment in White Oak Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Hester's memory to: Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 232 Sawmill Rd., Berlin, PA 15530.
