Born May 29, 1915 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Edwin G. and Estella Jane (Coleman) Darr. On June 20, 1937 in Somerset, she married Ord M. Mostoller and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1976. Preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn V. Darr. Survived by a brother, Robert C. Darr of Somerset; and two nieces, Deanna, wife of Eugene Kennedy of Berlin and Vicki, wife of Ronald Hillegass of Manns Choice. Member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church where she was a former Elder and choir member and a member of the Good Cheer Class and Circle One. Charter member of the Bedford Soroptimist Club. Member of the Bedford Toastmistress club; the Pioneer Historical Society, Johnstown; Heritage Society; a charter member of RSVP and a member of the American Philatelic Society. She served three years during World War II as SPAR (Women's Coast Guard). Retired in 1979 after 30 years service at the Bedford Office of Employment Security. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at the Somerset County Memorial Park. No visitation. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Bedford Presbyterian Church. Rev. Douglas Friant and Rev. Ardyth Hill officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to the Bedford County Library, 240 Wood St., Bedford, in her memory. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
