Mostoller, 60, of RD 6 Bedford, died July 3, 1976 at Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Somerset on September 8, 1915 to Mervin and Beulah Frysinger Mostoller. He was married June 20, 1937 to Mary Jane Darr who survived along with his mother and two brothers, Thomas L. Mostoller of Somerset; and Bernard L. Mostoller of Niles, Ohio; seven nieces and nephews; and one grand nephew; a brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Darr of Somerset. Mostoller was a graduate of the Somerset Township High School; served in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Colorado; and was a recipient of the purple heart for wounds received in World War II. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel from 1937-1947 and later worked for the Western Pennsylvania Breeder's Association. He has been employed since 1966 by the Hedstrom Company in Bedford as a machinist. He was a very active member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church and served as superintendent of the Sunday school, president of the men's association, elder and trustee. He was past commander of the Bedford American Legion. A memorial worship service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bedford Presbyterian Church with the Rev. M. Edgar Datesman officiating. A private committal service was held Monday morning at the Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make contributions to the Memorial Fund at the Bedford Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements made by the Timothy A.
