  MOTHERSBAUGH
  
    Beverly Jane "Polly" Mothersbaugh, 69, of Berlin died May 30, 2000
  at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.  Born July 14, 1930 in Stonycreek
  Township.  Daughter of Earl and Annabelle (Lambert) Custer.  Preceded
  in death by parents and brother, Charles Custer.  Survived by her
  husband of 51 years, Bill, and these children: Patty A., married to
  David R. Smith; and Cindy L Ross, both of Berlin; Bill Jr., married
  to former Joan Haines of Glencoe and Mike, married to former Carole
  Wittmann of Oakhill, Va.  Eight grandchildren and three great
  grandchildren.  Brothers Clyde of Shanksville; George of Berlin; Dick
  of Somerset; and James of Lyons, N.Y.  Sisters, Betty Mae Giese of
  Idyllwild, Ca.;  Nadean Bumbarger of Sipesville, Velma Lape of Bando
  and Virginia Hemminger of Somerset.  1948 graduate of
  Shanksville-Stonycreek High School and treasurer for Berlin Borough
  for 34 years.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin.  Long
  time member of Berlin Lady Rebeckah Lodge and Berlin fireman's
  auxiliary.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Friday.  The Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr. officiating. 
  Interment, Berlin IOOF cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given
  to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Pa., 15530
