Mountain, chief engineer for the West Penn Power Company at Kittaning, died Sunday morning, Feb. 23, 1941, after a critical illness of several weeks. She suffered ill health for many years. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mountain is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Augustine of Confluence, and three sisters: Mrs. D. L. Iverson of Ames, Ia., Mrs. J. T. McCuen, of Mount Lebanon, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Ruby Black of Confluence. The body was removed to the Augustine residence at Confluence where the funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon with interment in the Addison Cemetery. Mrs. Mountain and her husband were both natives of Confluence where she leaves many loving friends to mourn her untimely passing. Meyersdale Republican, February 27, 1941
