  MOUNTFORD
  
    H. Edwin Mountford, 73, of Emerald isle, N.C., died Jan. 26,
  2002.  He is survived by his wife, B.J. Mountford of the home; two
  daughters: Patricia J. Deshinsky of Varna, Ill.; and Linnette J.
  Mountford of Emerald Isle, N.C., and two sons, John E. Mountford of
  Bar Harbor, Maine; and George F. Mountford of Indian Lake.  Also
  surviving are three grandchildren.  He was a graduate of Gettysburg
  College and Dickinson School of Law.  He was a managing attorney for
  Southern Alleghenies Legal Aid in Somerset.  He retired to Emerald
  Isle in 1995 where he worked part time in the service department at
  Rick Gladwell.  He was an active member of the Golden Oldies at Star
  Hill Golf Course.  His
  Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Munden Funeral
  Home, Morehead City, N.C.  The family will receive friends from noon
  until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
