  MOWRY
  
    James J. Mowry, 71, of 1406 East Main St., Berlin, died May 26,
  1984 at Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born July 29, 1912 in
  Allegheny Township, son of Charles and Blanche (Coughenour) Mowry. 
  Preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter and granddaughter;
  brother, Homer; and a sister, Romaine Deeter.  Survived by his wife,
  the former Irene Emerick; and these children: Mrs. Geneva McVicker
  and Mrs. Ray (Linda) Coleman, both of Berlin; Mrs. E. Wayne (Shirley)
  Shaulis, Rockwood; and Dale, married to the former Carol Sicheri,
  Warren, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was
  a brother of:  Lee, Somerset; and Mrs. Bernadine Gindlesperger of
  Berlin. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends were
  received Sunday evening and Monday afternoon and evening at the
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at
  11 am. Tuesday (today), the Rev. Kenneth Swanson.  Interment, Berlin,
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
