Moxley, 82, Ross Drive, Bedford, went to be with her Lord June 14, 2005, at her home after a long battle with cancer. Mrs. Moxley was born in Central City, Feb. 2, 1923. She is the daughter of the late George B. and Jessie Mae (Hiner) Mowry. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Sherwood and Calvin. She was the widow of Thomas R. Moxley, who preceded her in death July 21, 1959. Helen is survived by sons, Mitchell T. Moxley, Torrence, Calif.; Terry A., husband of Jacqueline Faupel, Bedford; Scott J. husband of Lynn Davison, Gibsonia; sisters, Adelaide Josephs, Imperial; Jane Miller, Bedford; four grandchildren, Melissa, Rebecca, Meredith and Matthew. She worked in the payroll department at Hedstrom Inc. for more than 17 years. She had also been a caregiver for the elderly. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ of Bedford. Helen greatly enjoyed her many trips to the ocean with her family. Friends are invited to call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m.Friday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. The Rev. Paul Claycomb and the Rev. Raymond Short officiating. Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg.
