"Mickey" Muehlbauer, 76, of Pittsburgh and Somerset, died Nov. 10, 2002, in Pittsburgh. Born Sept. 16, 1926, in Pittsburgh, son of Max Muehlbauer and Barbara (Amberger) Muehlbauer. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Theresa Merkel, and brother, Godfrey Muehlbauer. Survived by his wife, Patricia (Sullivan) Muehlbauer; children: Kerry and Frank Riley; Colleen and Joe Leming; Jon Muehlbauer; Kathleen and Wayne Voss; Eileen Buchheit; and Paul and Autumn Muehlbauer; grandchildren: Vaughn Jr., Evan and Jacob Buchheit; Miranda Rae, Portia Rae and Skylar Rae Muehlbauer; Micaela Voss; and Hannah and Sara Grzeczka; sisters: Madeline Ratay, Catherine Hoellein and Josephine Goob; fondly remembered by many relatives and friends, especially Tricia Grzeczka and Hank Sadowski. He was a bottler for Duquesne Brewery. Family will receive friends at Boron Funeral Home Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road, Carrick, Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., where services will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul of the Cross Monastery at 10 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Bonacci, C.P. officiating. Interment, Loretto Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Monastery or Retreat Center, 148 Monastery Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. 15203 or you may continue Mickey's generous legacy of donating blood to the Central Blood Bank.
