  Mrs. Helen Cole Hoffman Muhlenberg, 87, Waynesboro, Pa. died Dec. 19,
  1978 at her residence.  Born Oct. 5, 1891 in Somerset County, daughter
  of John and Helen (Connor) Cole.  Preceded in death by her first
  husband, Gillian Hoffman, and her second husband, William Muhlenberg;
  also a son, William Hoffman; two sisters and three brothers.  Survived
  by son, John Hoffman of Waynesboro; two daughters-in-law, Lois Hoffman
  of Waynesboro; and Margaret Glessner of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; two
  grandsons, two granddaughters, and five great-grandsons.  Member of
  the Christ United Methodist Church of Waynesboro.  Member and Past
  Worthy Matron of Trinity Chapter OES No. 138, Somerset.  Friends
  received after 2 p.m. Friday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home,
  where services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
  Carl Buterbaugh.  Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  OES Services will
  be conducted Friday 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
