Mulcahy, 78, of Windber died June 16, 2003 at home. Born Nov. 16, 1924 in Windber the son of George J. and Catherine Elizabeth (Burke) Mulcahy. Preceded in death by parents, wife Martha, grandson Jode, brother Emmitt and daughter-in-law Louise. Survived by children: Patrick J. married to the former Connie Miller, of Windber; Mary, wife of Jon Critchfield of Somerset; Norbert J. married to the former Colleen Tantorno, Monica, Anthony G. married to the former Sandra Fluder, Theresa wife of Robert Seese Jr. all of Windber; Joseph W. of Henderson, N.C., Francis M. married to the former Mary Puterbaugh, Bradford; also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a brother George (Lorraine) of W.Va. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving aboard the attack transport U.S.S. Lamar. Joe was retired from Sani-Dairy, very active with Birthright and a member of the American Legion, VFW and NRA. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Meek Funeral Home, Windber where Rosary and wake service will be prayed on Thursday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber. Committal St. John Cantius Cemetery. Graveside Military Rites by Windber VFW Post.
