Mullen, 53, Lincoln Highway, Boswell RD, died Feb. 26, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Born April 25, 1946, in Milford Township, son of Everett "Bud" and Mary Jane (Omerzo) Mullen. Preceded in death by mother in 1992, and half-sister Patty Ann. Survived by children, Michael and Elyse and former wife Mona, all of Buffalo, N.Y. Brother of Charles, married to Janet Pyle, Gray; David and companion Terry Van Damme, Acosta Road; and JoAnn Swank and companion Bill Bunting, Somerset. Also survived by four nephews, one niece and four great-nephews. Member of Somerset Post 181 American Legion, Jenner Rod and Gun Club and the Somerset Aerie 1801 F.O.E. A 1964 graduate of the former J.B.J. Joint High School. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Tractor-trailer driver for 30 years. Avid fisherman and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Arnold Ansell of the Faith Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Gray, officiating. Following cremation, interment in Husband Cemetery, Somerset, at the convenience of the family.
