He had been bedfast since October 1st. Mr. Mullen was a man of fine character and attended to his own business. He had many staunch friends. He was in poor health only a short while. He was a coal miner by occupation. His funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, with interment in the Union Cemetery. R. Reich & Son had charge. Rev. Rowe of the Lutheran Church conducted the funeral rites. Meyersdale Republican, November 3, 1932
