  EDNA G. MURPHY
  
    Edna Grace Murphy, 74, of Oldtown Manor, Cumberland, Md., died
  Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1988, at Cumberland Memorial Hospital.
    Born August 8, 1913, at Rockwood, she was the daughter of the late
  Clarence E. and Mabel A. (Hay) Miller.  Her husband, Francis (Frank)
  D. Murphy, preceded her in death.
    She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ; the
  Soroptimists; the McKinley Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and a
  Sultana Wamba Caravan 89, Order of the Alhambra.
    Surviving are one son, Francis (Frank) D. Murphy Jr., Cincinnati,
  Ohio; and one sister, Mrs. B. Elaine Welsh, Somerset.
    The Scarpelli Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
