  GRACE L. MURPHY
  
    Mrs. Grace L. Murphy, 63, Route 2, Swanton, Md., died July 29,
  1977, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
    A native of Garrett, Mrs. Murphy was a daughter of the late Lloyd
  and Blanche (Ringler) Handwerk and was the widow of Glen Murphy.
    Surviving are two sons, Alvin G. Murphy, Route 2, Swanton, Md.; and
  Marvin R. Murphy, Salisbury RD 1; a daughter, Mrs. Thelma Brant,
  McHenry, Md.; a brother, Martin Handwerk, Swanton, Md.; two sisters,
  Miss Alberta Handwerk, Swanton, Md., and Mrs. Bertha Oster, Accident,
  Md.; and nine grandchildren.
    The body was taken to the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where a
  service was conducted by Rev. Wesley George.  Burial was in the Murphy
  Cemetery at Dry Run near Swanton, Md.
