  MURPHY
  
    John Terrance Murphy of Clairton, Pa., formerly of Somerset, died
  April 9, 1998, at Central Valley Hospital in Hanford, Calif.  Born
  April 15, 1910, in Homestead, Pa.  Retired engineer for U.S. Steel,
  Clairton Works, Marine Ways Division.  Also a World War II Navy
  veteran.  A member of the St. Clare of Assisi Parish.  Son of the
  late William James and Catherine (Thomas) Murphy.  Preceded in death
  by wife, Anne (Dzubay).  Survivors include daughter Betty Ann Stokes
  of LeMoore, Calif.; three sisters: Margaret Gross of West Mifflin,
  Eileen Worek of Bristol, Wisc., and Hanora "Nan" Kiggins, also of
  West Mifflin; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nieces
  and nephews.  Friends will be received at the S.M. Finney Funeral
  Home, 432 North 6th St., Clairton, Pa., 15025, on Tuesday from 7 to 9
  p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Blessing service will
  be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment, Lebanon
  Church Cemetery.
