  JOSEPH E. MURPHY
  
    Joseph E. Murphy, 67, 200 Thomas St., Meyersdale, died April 22,
  1981, in Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.
    He was born in Marion County, W.Va., and was a son of James B. and
  Sarah (Steinly) Murphy.  His wife, Evelyn Johnson, died in October. 
  Preceded in death by daughter Shirley.
    He is survived by three sons, Joseph Jr., Cleveland, Ohio; Bernard,
  Meyersdale; Carl, Berlin RD 4; a daughter, Deborah, wife of Barny
  Gohn, Colorado Springs, Col.; two brothers, William, Akron, Ohio; and
  Bernard, St. Petersburg, Fla.; five sisters, Eleanor Raymond, Pontiac,
  Mich.; Regina Kirchner, Meyersdale; Margretta Pugh, Jenner; Rose Ann
  Walker, Confluence; Mary Swindell, Barberton, Ohio; and five
  grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, by
  the Rev. J. Clark George.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
