  MAE EDNA MURPHY
  
    Mae Edna Murphy, 77, of 396 McHenry Street, LaVale, Maryland, died
  Wednesday, December 12, 1984, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
    She was born May 30, 1907 in Meyersdale, and was a daughter of the
  late Pearly White and Minerva (Shockey) White.
    She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, LaVale, Maryland.  Her
  husband was the late John T. Murphy.
    She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Barbara J. Williams, with
  whom she resided; two brothers, Ernest White and Charles White, both
  of Meyersdale; four sisters, Mrs. Helen Marple and Mrs. Hazel Bowman,
  both of Cumberland, Maryland; Mrs. Viola Haer, Red Lion; Mrs. Mary
  Fike, Meyersdale, and one grandson.
    Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home where services
  were conducted Friday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Ronald L. Burggraf. 
  Interment, Hillcrest Burial Park.
