  MARION MURPHY
  
    Marion B. Murphy, 82, of 49 East Main Street, Frostburg, died
  Friday night at Ravenwood Nursing Home in Hagerstown.
    Born in Garrett County, he was a son of the late William and
  Henrietta (Crowe) Murphy.  His wife, Clara (Minnick) Murphy preceded
  him in death.
    He was a member of Farraday Post 24, American Legion and was a
  veteran of World War I.
    He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Murphy, Frostburg, and William
  Murphy, Woodbridge, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Aldridge, Glencoe,
  Pa.; and Mrs. Dorthy Hester, North Vernon, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Edna
  Keene, Mount Savage; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Sowers Funeral Home.  Rev. E.
  Lawrence Miller officiated and interment was in McKenzie Cemetery.
    Farrady Post 24 accorded graveside military rites.
