  ELIZABETH C. MURRAY
  
    Elizabeth C. Murray, 96, died Nov. 17, 1983, in Maple Mountain
  Manor.  She was known by her friends as Aunt Lizzie.
    She was born Nov. 19, 1887, in Larimer Township, a daughter of the
  late Henry and Harriet (Lint) Slagle.  She was preceded in death by
  her husband, Simon; and three brothers, Milton, Joseph and John.
    She is survived by four nieces, Marie, wife of Andrew Gurzenda,
  Somerset; Pauline Sloat, and Hazel, wife of Chester Lowery, both of
  Akron, Ohio; and Mabel Slagle, Meyersdale.  She was the oldest member
  of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday
  School for many years.
    Friends were received at the Leckemby Funeral Home.  Services were
  held Monday, at the Hostetler Church of the Brethren, with the Rev.
  William Davis officiating.  Interment, Hostetler Cemetery.
